I design for people in moments when they don't have much choice. That includes someone trying to understand financial regulations, a warehouse worker on a tight deadline, a parent booking therapy services, or a buyer ordering supplies late at night.
Over the last 5 years, I've worked on FINRA's regulatory education platform, B2B procurement with Google across 40+ countries, Wells Fargo's EDI integration, and helped DCGears grow into a Wesco acquisition. I've also designed for nonprofits, gig platforms, healthcare and more. The industries change, but the skill stays the same: understanding people well enough to build systems they'll trust and actually use.
I've led teams of 9, shipped systems with 150+ screens, and learned that good design isn't about pretty interfaces. It's about knowing how color builds trust differently in finance versus retail, how cultural context shapes what feels simple, and how a warehouse manager's needs are completely different from a corporate buyer's even though they use the same tool.
I treat AI as a real design partner. For FINRA, it handled storyboarding, video generation and research synthesis work so I could focus on strategy and the human side of design. I care less about writing perfect prompts and more about understanding how people think, what makes them trust a system, and how design will evolve over the next decade.
Most projects I work on involve multiple user groups experiencing the same platform in totally different ways. I'm pretty good at designing for that kind of complexity.
